Movie Review : Bangistan – Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat

Movie Review : Bangistan

Rating: 2.5/5 Star (2.5 Stars)

Star Cast: Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat, Jacqueline Fernandez

Direction: Karan Anshuman

Story Line: The film is about two individuals who get brainwashed by their gurus to become suicide bombers. Both Hafeez and Praveen are impressionable so their sects choose them for a special mission. They are told that to show reverence to Allah and Bhagwan, they must destroy people from the opposite faiths. Their Journey has several twists and turns, it is interesting how they find out what’s wrong and what’s right. Bangistan is just all about sin, satire and salvation.

What’s Good: Performance of Riteish and Pulkit is mind blowing, also the appearance of Jacqueline Fernandez adds a good amount of entertainment in the movie. However, both the actors managed to satisfy the audience but we need some spicy stuff too in an Indian movie and Jacqueline did it well. Movie has a good amount of comedy and twists and turns! The climax scene is very heart touching like previous movies of Riteish. By the way, film has very good message for all the religious and it is the first ever movie of Bollywood which doesn’t hurts any religious sentiments.

What’s Bad: Climax scene is just extra ordinary, happens only in Bollywood films! Jacqueline did a cameo role only, watching a film which doesn’t have romance feels quite boring sometimes.

Our Opinion: Topic of film is very interesting, but film is okay okay! So it’s a one time watch. Don’t expect too much from the film, but you will surely enjoy if you watch it.
